Japanese Black Pine III Workshop
November 14, 2009 | Cost: $60
This session is the third of a three part series on Japanese Black Pine care and maintenance. It is recommended that you take all three in order to understand the annual cycle of Japanese Black Pine care as all three are critical to achieve a highly refined bonsai. This is the time of year that we get to enjoy the fruits of our year’s endeavors on our pines. Tools to bring include a sharp pair of shears, straight tweezers, concave pruners, wire cutters and copper wire. We have some of these items available for sale or to borrow if needed.
You are welcome to bring more than one tree; as much work will be completed as time permits. Those students that have completed all three sessions of study may return to continue to advance their refinement techniques.
The class starts at 9:00 AM with an in depth lecture of all aspects of fall care followed by hands on work. The workshop is all day with a break for lunch. You may join us in ordering lunch or feel free to bring your own. The cost of the workshop is $60 - prepayment reserves your spot as classroom size is limited.
