Japanese Black Pine - summer workshop

This is the key time to work on your Japanese Black Pine. This is when we decandle to get those short needles that look so great on a refined tree. We also do some trimming and needle plucking.

Tools you will use include a sharp pair of scissors to cut the candles, and tweezers to pluck needles. This is also a time that we can wire the tree, so you can bring wire, wire cutters and pliers.

This work should only be done on a strong tree that is ready to take the next step towards refinement. You may also work on some of our Japanese Black Pine stock as well if you wish.
